The ‘Local Food Systems Policy Index (Local Food-EPI+)’ tool was developed to benchmark and prioritise local government food policy actions, including those related to nutrition and environmental sustainability. It aims assist local governments in prioritising actions to improve the healthiness, equity and environmental sustainability of food systems.

The tool was developed in conjunction with local government practitioners, policy makers and academic experts, as part of the international INFORMAS network (active in 65+ countries). It is available for download here.
